I would like to share with you a story of an extraordinary man I had the privilege of meeting when I was invited to his home in Shenzhen (China) in order to coach him and design a personalized Bodybuilding-Lifestyle program,

His name is Kenneth Ko, a very successful and highly respected designer in China, renowned for his distinctive approach to making optimum use of space, and unconventional use of form, and function in interior design. 

Kenneth started applying a bodybuilding lifestyle after his mother died of cancer and reached a phenomenal shape at age 50.
Today Kenneth is over 60 and more than ever determined to improve his Lifestyle,   
He asked me to come to China and help him get in his best shape ever!

Kenneth has personal gyms in his several homes and offices throughout China and an exceptional pilot gym in his main office in Shenzhen where I had the privilege of training him for over a week,

Kenneth’s goal is to encourage all the people in the corporate world in China, especially the youngsters to follow a good and healthy lifestyle,
He often give talks to people around China about his way of living in between drawing and meeting highly potential clients who all admire his physic as well as his talent as an interior designer,
Kenneth’s priority today is to deliver a message to the Chinese people, which are to incorporate a healthy Lifestyle to their lives, in order to feel rejuvenated and to obtain a healthier mindset,

In Shenzhen where Kenneth resides and operates from where his main office is and a well equipped gym, I landed up having one of my best workouts in the past 2 years,
This specific gym was designed by Kenneth in order to serve as a model, a pilot gym for future gyms that Kenneth will set-up all over the country in the near future,
In Shenzhen gym Kenneth has over 1 000 bodybuilding magazines boxed in against the wall on display, such magazines like Flex, Muscle & Fitness, Iron-Man, Muscle-Mag, and Muscular Development, some magazines are the very first ones dated from 1960,
This wall I have to share with the world and Bodybuilding.com because it’s the most impressive collection I had the opportunity to witnessed, which clearly shows to us, how much Kenneth’s passion and dedication for the sport of bodybuilding is.
In fact Kenneth told me and admitted that when he was younger; he thought to embrace a Bodybuilding carrier, but he realised that this choice will not make him to create a good living,
Today Kenneth became an inspiration in China but also for his friends and business partners and clients including his employees, mostly because he enjoys sharing all his experiences, he often get everyone together in an amphitheatre designed as part of his main office, and he talks to them with charisma and passion about his life experience as a designer, but also as a human being who dedicates himself to a healthy lifestyle, eating well, training with persistence and focus which results in a healthier mindset, a source of real joy and freedom of spirit.

During my staying in Shenzhen Kenneth asked me to do an exhibition for his employees, friends and business partners at his main office, before my exhibition Kenneth spoke to the audience about lifestyle and bodybuilding.
It was a great experience for me as a Pro-Bodybuilder to also share after my exhibition my passion with this world of creativity and skill.

Applying a Bodybuilding Lifestyle for a successful business man takes planning and preparation but Kenneth has the right mind set and a lot of determination,

I designed a training program especially around Kenneth’s goals,
His preparation is based on a specific evaluation-test where I tested his Physical qualities, his muscular control and his mental & physical ability through effort, after having established Kenneth first and personal training program, I also have established Kenneth personal Nutritional &Supplementation plan related on Kenneth TP and goals with a concern in my mind which is to sustain Kenneth energy and balance throughout his busy days
My idea was to make sure that Kenneth has enough meals through the day without interfering with his back to back meetings and supplementation to support his energy and handle his 2 workouts a day.
It was also important to make sure he sleeps well in order to be in shape the next day to do it all over again.
In order to succeed at this difficult task to be in top shape & condition mentally and physically I mentioned to him how important it is to respect some training principles like training duration and training frequency
The first conclusion was to stay flexible, with the split routine, and only train twice for the convenient and benefit from it, also Kenneth can train only one time a day, following this schedule of 2 days/on training and 1 day/of training
I was very pleased with the outcome, after only 6 days of working together and eating healthy and frequently Kenneth dropped 4 kg bodyweight and had a glow in his face, he was already looking better overall face and body
His sleep improved and his strength and mental ability increased by 50% and that’s only after not even a week.

After that I felt my job was done, and now Kenneth will apply everything he learnt for the next 3 months to come to see how he does by himself!

Our very first challenge and short term goal is to drop more weight, in order to get leaner, I explained to Kenneth that in order to obtain positive results with his preparation, he needs to perform, which means that he needs to be fit and strong, to become an athlete, a lean body can perform a fat body can’t!
